The Burning Bush

These days, the prevalence of unnatural fires is another sign of the devastating climate crisis. Creation cries out as forests crackle, animals flee, and people are forced to migrate due to the fires of injustice.

The brief

During the Season of Creation, Christians worldwide are called to listen to the voice of creation — but that voice has been muted for far too long, drowned out by the noise of the very crisis it's warning against.

Collage, photo manipulation and hand-lettered type carry the piece — leaning into a raw, documentary texture rather than clean corporate motion graphics, so the human and ecological cost reads as urgent rather than illustrative.

During the Season of Creation, we're listening
Why the voice of creation?
Muted for far too long
The voices of Indigenous peoples
Our suffering sisters and brothers
All members of God's creation
The voice of the Earth
But are we listening?
Psalms 19:1–4
Thanks for watching

The heavens are telling the glory of God — their voice goes out through all the Earth.
